Pork Chop with Brown Sauce







  • 200g of pork, cut to bout 1.5cm thick slices


  • Salt and pepper to marinate pork (marinate for 10mins)


  • 1 egg


  • 1 cup of flour


  • 2 tablespoon of oil for frying





  1. Dip the pork in egg, and then on the flour.


  2. Heat up the oil. And fry the pork.


  3. Served with brown sauce (or other dips that you like)

Fry Priwn Roll





  • 100g of fish meat (I uses mackerel)

  • 30g of pork

  • 3 medium size prawn (shell removed)

  • 1 teaspoon of corn flour

  • 1 medium size brinjal (cut to 8 long pieces)

  • 8 pieces of beancurd / soy sheet (bout 5cm width and 10cm length)

  • 1 teaspoon of miso paste

  • A pinch of salt

  • 1/8 teaspoon of pepper

  • 3 tablespoon of oil for frying



  1. Mashed and chop the fish meat, pork and prawn till they are well mix.

  2. Season with salt, pepper and corn flour. Leave it in the freezer for 5 mins.

  3. Soaked beancurd sheet in water for a min, drain dry.

  4. Lightly dry each sheet on the pan with medium fire.

  5. Rub miso paste on the surface of all the brinjal.

  6. Lay the brinjal and mixed priwn paste on th beancurd sheet.

  7. Roll up the sheet.

  8. Heat up the oil and pan fry the roll till the priwn is cooked.

  9. I served it with brown sauce.

Scallion Fried Rice








  • 1 cup of cooked rice




  • 1/4 cups of scallion




  • 1 egg




  • A pinch of salt and pepper for taste.




  • 1 teaspoon of oil









  1. Heat up oil and fry rice for bout a min.




  2. Add in scallion and fry till fragrant.




  3. Mix salt and pepper to egg, and add in the egg to the rice.




  4. After the rice is fully covered with egg, its ready to be served.

Prawn + Mushroom




  • 8 medium size prawns (I left the shell on, but should remove it to taste better)


  • 8 square pieces of cheddar cheese (size of 2cm by 2cm)


  • 8 pieces of soaked dried chinese mushroom


  • 1 cube of butter


  • A pinch of salt and pepper to marinate prawns


  • 3 tablespoon of water


  • 1 teaspoon of fish sauce


  • A pinch of mixed herbs





  1. Saute mushrooms with butter for 2mins.


  2. Add in prawns and saute till prawns are cooked.


  3. Place mushroom on the plate and sandwich the cheese with prawns.


  4. Do not wash the pan, add in water, fish sauce and herbs. Leave water to boil and pour over the mushroom.


  5. Put in microwave on high for 15 seconds to melt the cheese.

Grill Carrot




  • 1.5 piece of carrot, cut to big chunk


  • Some butter


  • Some Onions


  • Aluminium foil, fold to a cup shape





  1. Place butter, carrot and onions in the aluminium foil.


  2. Grill for 20mins

Grill Fish




  • 1 piece of aluminium foil, bout 20cm by 10cm (fold to half)

  • 1 piece of fish (size depending on how many pax served), slit some lines across the fish

  • Few slices of ginger

  • Some salt and pepper to marinate fish (for 5 mins)



  1. Lay the ginger on the foil. Place the fish on top of the ginger.

  2. Grill over 190 degree celcius for 25 mins.

  3. Served with some spicy dip.

Talap

A durian look alike fruit, but the inside looks kinda like jackfruit, but in creamy white color. Taste creamy and delicious, no wonder my colleague called it the butter fruit.
