Nutrient Packed Porridge

Had this really nutrient packed porridge for dinner today, tomoto, mushroom, fishball, egg, cranberry bean, black beans and crispy fried garlic (tipu a bit, use microwave).





Served with coriander fish (no chicken)... taste so so... hubby said too strong coriander taste, while I think I prefer plain bake fish... hehehe...

Creamy Potato Stew





  • 1.5 cups of cranberries bean


  • 1 cup of water


  • 1 pinch of salt


  • 1 big size potato, chopped to small cubes


  • 1 small carrot, cut to medium size chunk


  • 1 cube of butter


  • 1 cup of evaporated milk


  • 2 teaspoon of mixed herbs


  • 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese (shaved with peeler)


  • 1.5 cups of chopped scallion


  • 1 pinch of pepper





  1. Boil the beans and potato, with salt and water.


  2. Add in butter once the water boil and stir till butter melts evenly.


  3. Lower the fire. Add in mixed herbs and carrot once the water almost finish evaporating.


  4. Add in evaporated milk, scallion and parmesan cheese.


  5. Dish and serve. Sprinkle some pepper on the top before serving.

Cranberry Beans Soup

Gotten this recipe from Wokking Mum:





  • 1.5 cup of cranberry beans

  • 500g of pork ribs (blanched with hot water)

  • 1/2 cup of red dates

  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt

  • 2 littre of water



  1. Mix all ingredients together (except for salt) to boil.

  2. Leave it on the slow cooker to cook for 10hrs. Flavored with salt before serving.
