Lentil Potato Burger

Not sure what to do with the leftover lentils that I used for the dhall curry, and dont feel like making shall again and again, so, decided to make some healthy lunch for myself instead.


Ingredients:
  • 1.5cups of yellow split beans (soaked overnight in the fridge)
  • 2 small size potato, cut into cubes, skin removed
  • 3 tablespoon of oat
  • 2 chinese mushroom, soaked
  • one bunch of black fungus, soaked
  • half a medium size carrot
  • 2 tablespoon of water
  • 1egg
  • 2 teaspoon of curry powder
  • a dash of cinnamon powder
  • 2 teaspoon of soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
  • a dash of ground pepper
Methods:
  1. Cooked the bean and potato in the sauce pan with enough water to submerge the ingredients for about 15mins.
  2. Then mixed it with ingredients 3 to 7 in the magi mix (or the blender). Blend till all items are fine and mixed well.
  3. Add in an egg and continue to blend till it is even.
  4. Season with the rest of the ingredients. 
  5. Similar to the pork burger, shaped and keep in the fridge.
  6. Pan fry and served as per the way you like it.

Vegetarian Pork Rib


Without flash






  • 1 packet of vegetarian pork rib

  • 2 teaspoon of salted preserved beans

  • 2 tablespoon of oil

  • a dash of pepper



  1. Fry the vegetarian pork rib with the oil till fragrant or for about 7mins.

  2. Add in the salted preserved beans and fry for a min. Add in the pepper, dish and served.

  3. Decorate parsley.

Braised Mushroom with Dried Mussel


The raw materials

A dish that is almost similar to the braised mushroom with moss (except this is without moss, but lots of other stuff....







  • 1 tablespoon of chopped garlic

  • 1 tablespoon of chopped shallot

  • 2 tablespoon of oil

  • 6 pieces of dried mussel, cut to two

  • 4 pieces of dried chinese mushroom, soaked and sliced

  • 4 pieces of fresh shitake mushroom, sliced

  • 2 pieces of crabstick (cut to three pieces each)

  • 3 pieces of vegetarian mushroom ball (cut to four pieces each)

  • 1 tablespoon of wolfberries

  • 3 cups of water

  • 1 teaspoon of soy sauce

  • 1 pinch of pepper




  1. Saute shallot and add in garlic after 1min.

  2. Stir in dried mussel, all the mushroom and vegetarian ball.

  3. Add in water after 1 mins and boil for 20mins. Add in wolfberries and crabstick.

  4. Add in pepper and soy sauce seasoning.

Vegetarian Rendang Mutton




  • 1 packed of vegetarian mutton


  • 1 packed of Maggi curry rendang mix


  • 2 cup of light santan (coconut milk)


  • 2 tbsp of oil


  • 1/2 big bombay onion chopped





  1. Fry onions till golden before adding in the mutton.


  2. Fry for about 2 minutes before adding in the santan mixed with curry rendang mix.


  3. Leave it to cook at low fire for 15 mins.
