Black Pepper Fried Noodle










  • 100g of yellow noodle (soaked in hot water for one min, washed with cold water and soaked in hot water second time for one min)


  • 1 cup of chopped carrot


  • 1/4 chopped bombay onion


  • 1 piece of choy po (sweet preserved pak choy, if I'm not mistaken) chopped


  • 3 pieces of chopped garlic


  • 50g of pork (sliced to medium sizes)


  • 2 teaspoon of black pepper


  • 1 teaspoon of soy sauce


  • 1 pinch of pepper


  • 1 pinch of salt


  • 2 tablespoon of oil


  • 1/4 cup of water


  • 1 bunch of pak choy.





  1. Saute onions for 1 min. Add in garlic and stir in the pork.


  2. Once the pork is cook, add in the carrot and choy po. Stir fry for about 1min.


  3. Mix the pepper, water, black pepper, salt and soy sauce.


  4. Add in noodle and stir in the mixture. Add in the pak choy


  5. Fry for about 2 mins and dish to serve.

Black Pepper Chicken




  • 250g chicken fillet


  • 2 tablespoon of black pepper powder


  • One pinch of salt


  • 1 teaspoon of cornstarch with 2 tablespoon of water


  • 2 pieces of cut shallot


  • 1 teaspoon of oil


  • Marinate for Chicken:


  • Salt


  • Pepper


  • Curry powder


  • Cornstarch





  1. Marinate chicken with the marinate ingredients. If possible, marinate over night.


  2. Heat up the oil, and saute the shallot.


  3. Add in the chicken fillet. Fry the chicken till it is cooked.


  4. Mix the pepper, salt, water and cornstarch.


  5. Add in the mixture to the chicken and let it thicken.


  6. Dish out and serve.
