- 5 pieces of chili padi (for the paste)
- 4 cloves of medium size shallot (for the paste)
- 1 bulb of garlic (for the paste)
- 2 pieces of red chilli (for the paste)
- 1 piece of star anise (for the paste)
- 1 inch of cinammon stick (for the paste)
- Salt and pepper to taste (for the paste)
- 1 piece of fish fillet (approximately 400g)
- 1 teaspoon of lime juice
- 1 tablespoon of orange juice
- 1/2 teaspoon of mushroom soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon of cornstarch for thickening
- Salt and pepper to marinate fish
- Marinate the fish with some salt and pepper for about 20mins.
- Pan fry it with some olive oil till cooked. Dish out on serving plate.
- Saute the paste item with the oil from the pan.
- Mix the lime juice, orange juice, corn starch and one tablespoon of water. Add in to the paste that is frying on the pan.
- Pour the sauce on top of the fish.
- Garnish with some parsley.
