Wrap Around the Wrap

Have quite some leftovers of the the blended ingredients from the wanton recipe. So added an egg yolk and some corn starch.

Have a layer of chinese white cabbage top on a soy sheet. Lay some straw mushroom (about one inch thickness) and put some of the blended ingredients. Wrapped the mixture up.

Soup base in onion and egg white.

Served along with pan fried chicken.

Wanton Soup

Got so tempted by Wokkingmum's prawn dumpling, I make some wanton over the weekends. However the taste is not so good, I guess the ingredients has lack of prawn and egg yolk.

Hubby said the content is kinda powdery. I added chicken, fish, pork, mushroom, carrot and some water chestnut. The picture is with miso soup base.

Ipoh OldTown Coffee

Recently, the Ipoh OldTown Coffee open a new franchise here and as usual, when there is a new restaurant or coffeeshop, the place will definitely be flooded by people.

Was there last week with some colleague. Still quite chaotic and the taste of the food is just so so...
