Marmite Pomfret



Many of you had tried pork with marmite, chicken with marmite, prawns with marmite, but I ever heard of fish marmite. So, tried and not bad, thought the marmite amounts need to at least double up.



  • 1 pomfret about 400g (slit a few slits on the flesh area), marinate with a dash of pepper and salt, coat lightly with corn flour

  • 2 tablespoon of oil to fry

  • 1 teaspoon of marmite - A

  • 1 teaspoon of honey - A

  • 3 tablespoon of water - A

  • 1 teaspoon of corn flour - A

  • 1 teaspoon of soy sauce - A

  • 1/8 teaspoon of pepper - A

  • 1 teaspoon of mixed herbs - A



  1. Fry fish with oil, each side for about 5-6mins. Dish and leave aside once cook.

  2. On the same pan, mix in all A ingredients and cook at low fire. Stir till ingredients mix well and thicken. Pour over fish.
