Nescafe Rib

I havent been cooking "properly" lately since I need to do just quick cook (need to attend to my little sweetheart). But last week, since we invited some friends over, I prepare this Nescafe Rib (no pics coz it just look like normal black soy sauce pork rib dish only).

Ingredients

  • 4 teaspoon of Nescafe Gold (u can try normal, but I dont have stock at home)
  • 2 tablespoon of brown sugar
  • 1 cup of milk (use only 1/4 cup for marinate)
  • 1/8 teaspoon of salt
  • a pinch of pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon of corn flour
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped shallot
  • oil to saute
  • 700g of pork rib (chopped to bite size)
  1. Marinate the pork rib with all the ingredients other than water, shallot and oil for at least 4hrs.
  2. Saute shallot till slightly golden.
  3. Add in pork ribs and pan fry both the side.
  4. Add in the balance of milk and water.
  5. Use low fire to cook till the sauce caramelised and coat the ribs.
  6. Ready to serve.
